Carica papaya - Crude papain

Our papain is produced as a crude, dried material by collecting the latex from the fruit of the papaya tree in the Kivu province in RD Congo. The latex of the Carica papaya is collected by cutting the skin of  the unripe fruit.  The latex is dried as such in classic dryers to obtain PAPAIN GRANULAR - P3.

We can also make a basic filtration to remove carbohydrate substances before the classic drying to obtain finally PAPAIN FLAKES –P2.

Both crude papain products can easily  be used in INDUSTRIAL EXTRACTION PROCESSES.  Papain is well known as a strong proteolytical enzyme which is also active under difficult circumstances to compare to other proteases and it has a wide spectrum of hydrolysation.
